Last week saw six East Lancashire criminals put behind bars for offences ranging from burglary to arson.
The longest sentence saw a Nelson man part of a cocaine conspiracy across the North West put away for 16 years.
Here, we bring you a round-up of all the criminals banged up in the region last week.
All the East Lancashire criminals jailed this week
Jamie Stanton and Glynn Threlfall
Blackburn in February.
Jamie Stanton, 30, and Glynn Threlfall, 32, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Monday, November 18 following a burglary at a house inThe pair were in a taxi which they diverted to the house of a Mr Robinson, who was awoken by loud banging and shouts of ‘where is he?’
Mr Robinson hid in the spare bedroom on the phone to the police while Stanton and Threlfall took his possessions from downstairs and attempted to get away.
Stanton was thwarted when his trousers fell down as he was running which tripped him and allowed officers to swoop in and arrest him.
Threlfall was found by police at another house where he went onto racially abuse one of the arresting officers, calling them a ‘Paki’.
Stanton was sentenced to two years in prison, while Threlfall was given a sentence of two years and five months.

Christopher Paul
Christopher Paul was the last of 16 defendants to be sentenced in a long-running investigation by Greater Manchester Police.
Paul, from Nelson, was part of a gang jailed for more than 70 years between them after they dealt drugs across the region.
During the period of surveillance, it’s estimated those jailed were responsible for the movement of £7.5m worth of high-purity cocaine.
Following a re-trial which concluded in August, three men were found guilty of drug offences and possession of criminal property.
In April, 12 defendants were sentenced following a 14-week trial held last year, where they were all found guilty of conspiracy to supply drugs and possession of criminal property.
Paul was jailed for 16 years.

David Pye
Burnley Crown Court on Wednesday, November 20, after pleading guilty to possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
David Pye appeared atPye, of Huncoat, had been forced into street dealing to pay off a drug debt when he was caught by police in Bullough Park, Accrington.
He attempted to evade officers but a police statement at the time of his arrest said he was chased and “eventually rugby tackled near the playground.”
Police estimated the drugs found in Pye’s possession to have a street value of around £11,000.
He was jailed for four years and six months.

Daniel Johnson
Daniel Johnson appeared at Preston Crown Court on Thursday, November 21 after pleading guilty to five counts of attempted sexual communication with a child, three counts of making indecent images, two counts of attempting to cause a child to watch sexual activity, and one counts of attempting to cause/incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
Johnson, of Blackburn, made contact with a number of decoys set up by self-styled paedophile hunter groups, under the impression that the people he was talking to were young girls.
He held highly-sexualised conversations with these ‘girls’ and asked them to send him naked photographs of themselves.
Johnson also encouraged them to perform sexual activity and sent one the ‘girls’ several sexual GIFs.
Judge Michael Maher told Johnson: “Though these children did not exist, your interest in children is manifestly clear.”
Johnson was sentenced to four years in prison.

Robert Wallace
Robert Wallace was sentenced at Burnley Crown Court on Thursday, November 21 after pleading guilty to arson.
Wallace, from Burnley, set fire to his girlfriend’s lease car after they had an argument on Boxing Day last year.

It was said that in a fit of temper, he smashed a window, set fire to a bed sheet and threw it inside the vehicle, causing the £15,000 car to be written off.
Wallace was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison.
