A new model railway based on the historic Settle & Carlisle line is set to debut this month.
The line will be shown off at the Blackburn and East Lancs Model Railway Society's (BELMRS) exhibition at Oswaldtwistle Mills in Colliers Street.
The exhibition, which takes place on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1, will showcase a dozen different layouts in various scales and styles.
The new layout, named Bankfield, is 00 scale and measures 32ft by 9ft.
It depicts a modern-day section of the line and features a variety of diesel-hauled trains in action with Direct Computer Control (DCC) and sound effects.
Among the other exhibits is Ruloe Junction, another new layout in N Gauge, representing a section of the Crewe-Preston main line during the 1950s and 60s.
Other 00 layouts feature both diesel and steam trains, while N Gauge layouts depict Preston around the Millennium and the modern-day North American Rockies.
The exhibition also features larger 0 Gauge displays set in 1970s Britain and Pennsylvania, USA.
Retailers like Sawyer Models of Leigh will be present alongside stands selling second-hand items.
The event will be held in the Moscow Suite at the Oswaldtwistle Mills Business Centre.
BELMRS members, based there, will also have their clubroom open to visitors.
The show will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Entry is priced at £5, with free admission for accompanied children under 16.
Family Tickets at £8 are also available, and the venue offers free parking and disabled access.
