Work has begun on the site where a major retailer's new premise is set to be built.
The Home Bargains store, which will be on land near Rhyddings Street in Oswaldtwistle, will create more than 100 full-time and part-time jobs.
TJ Morris Limited trading as Home Bargains will be building a 2,270 square metre store, "boosting consumer choice in Oswaldwistle and the wider area," according to the firm.
The site was formerly home to a derelict mill, which was a hotspot for vandals.

A total of 37 three and two-bedroom affordable homes will also be built on the site.
The estate will consist of 27 two-storey semi-detached and mews properties, 10 two and half-storey semi-detached townhouses, 67 car parking spaces, open space and landscaping.
St Andrews ward councillor, Steven Smithson, said: "It is good to see construction is progressing well for the new Home Bargains store in our town.
"For years this site off Rhydding's Street has been vacant and derelict, I have been working hard behind the scenes to get this area redeveloped.
"I am pleased this brownfield development will not only tidy this area but will create much needed jobs for our town and boost the local economy."
New bus stops have also been set up on either side of Rhyddings Street.
Home Bargains were unable to comment on when a completion date may be for the works.
