A Blackburn man has been jailed after he admitted multiple sexual offences.
Hassan Karbhari, 62, appeared at Preston Crown Court last week (November 12) having pleaded guilty to offences of attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child and attempting to cause/incite a girl aged 13-15 into sexual activity.
Karbhari, of Dundee Drive, committed the offences between July 18 and July 23 last year in Blackburn.
He attempted to communicate with a fake profile under the name 'Billie Jo Beaman' who purported to be under the age of 16.
Karbhari discussed sexual acts, dates to meet, and encouraged them to perform sexual acts for him.
At a sentencing hearing, Karbhari was jailed for three years.
