A person has been taken to hospital after a house fire in Burnley.
At around 10.50pm, on November 17, two fire engines from Burnley attended a fire on Queensberry Road.
One person was taken to hospital by the ambulance service. Crews were in attendance for around one hour.
A fire service spokesperson said: “At 10.50pm on November 17, two fire engines from Burnley attended a domestic building fire on Queensberry Road, Burnley.
“One casualty was transported to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
Three fire engines attended the scene in Swan Street at 2.30am with one casualty rescued by the fire service before being transferred to hospital by ambulance.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Fire services are no longer at the premises.
