Lancashire Constabulary are asking for residents' help to identify these men who were involved in a serious assault in Darwen last month.
Officers were called to Church Street, Darwen, at 11.46pm on Saturday, October 12, following reports that several people were involved in disorder.
Emergency services arrived and found a man in his 30s with a serious head injury, who is still receiving treatment in hospital.
Following enquiries police arrested a 24-year-old and a 21-year-old from Darwen on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
DC Amelia Nethell, of East CID, said: “This incident has resulted in a man sustaining a serious head injury.
"Such is the seriousness of that injury, he remains in hospital over a month later.
“Although we continue to make progress in the investigation, we are asking for the public’s help in identifying the men in the CCTV stills.
"If you recognise any of them, we would ask that you contact the police as soon as possible.
“I am also appealing for anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage covering Darwen town centre in the minutes after the incident to make contact with us.”
Anyone with information or footage is asked to email or call 101 quoting log 1435 of October 12, or can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
