A man will stand trial after denying causing serious injury by careless driving.
Israr Ahmed, 45, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Monday (November 18) charged with the single count.
Ahmed, of Sudellside Street, Darwen, is accused of causing injury to another man while driving without due care and attention in Darwen last year.
He entered a not guilty plea to the offence.
A trial date was not set at the hearing.
Ahmed's next appearance in court will be on January 24 for a pre-trial reivew.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
