A Yorkshire travel agency is expanding and opening its second branch in Barnoldswick.
Shevaun Joy and Lisa Manditsch opened Destination Travel in Silsden, in 2009, a year after the previous agency business they worked for closed down.
Together with their four staff - Natalie, Lucy, Lindsey and Hayley - they are hoping to bring their wealth of knowledge in the travel industry to customers in Lancashire.
The store is set to be opened at the end of the month by TikTok sensation Bev Stewart better known as Nannabea.
The TikTok star has wracked up nearly two million followers and shares everything from funky dances to home recipes.
Shevaun said: “We started looking for opportunities in the local area now we’ve bounced back from the pandemic – we’re selling more than ever before.
"Lisa and I decided on Barnoldswick, which is about 40 minutes away from Silsden.
“Barnoldswick is perfect for us as no other high street Agency, there are a lot of independent retailers – and the lovely market square.
“We found a lovely little shop near the market square and after renovation, we will be ready to open the doors on Saturday, November 30.
“In Barnoldswick, our biggest challenge is the last travel agency closed down around the time of Covid, so there has been no travel agency here for five or six years.
"We need to change booking habits as I guess people have tended to book their holidays direct."
The agency is registered with ABTA and Advantage Travel Partnership.
Shevaun said they will have various tour operators coming into the shop after the opening to chat with customers.
She said: “We would love people to pop in for a cuppa and a chat and share your holiday plans with us.
“We provide a complete travel service from UK Breaks to package holidays, cruising and worldwide tailor-made holidays. All this with expert advice and guidance.
“We are very competitive on price and complete all travel documents, online check-in and passport and visa advice.”
Destination Travel is set to open on Saturday, November 30.
