A driver has been arrested following a crash in the Ribble Valley.

The vehicle landed on its roof after the incident yesterday evening.

A police spokesperson said: "We often give advice on driving in the Ribble Valley, particularly with the foggy weather we are experiencing at the moment.

"This includes - 'drive to the conditions' and 'don't drink and drive'.

"Unfortunately, it appears the driver of this vehicle failed to heed either of those warnings hence the upside-down car.

"Fortunately on this occasion, luck was on the driver's side and no one was killed or seriously injured."
