A Longridge care home worker has won a prestigious award for her dedication to residents.

Jackie Collier, from Longridge Hall Care Home, was given the Care Home Worker Award at the Great British Care Awards.

The award recognises her "dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment" to the residents she cares for.

She is said to consistently go above and beyond to make each day fulfilling for the residents, bringing smiles to their faces.
