Two fire engines were called to a kitchen fire in Colne this afternoon.
Crews from Colne and Nelson attended the scene in West Street on Thursday (November 14) at around 1.50pm.
They were at the scene for close to 90 minutes and used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a fan to extinguish the fire.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Two fire engines from Colne and Nelson attended a domestic premises on West Street, Colne.
"Firefighters have extinguished a fire involving a kitchen of a property using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
"Fire crews were on scene for approximately one hour and twenty five minutes."
