Hundreds of people from across Lancashire will be at a huge Diwali celebration in Blackburn over the weekend.
The Diwali event will take place on Saturday, November 16, at the Grand Venue in Harrison Street, Blackburn.
The celebration which marks the Hindu festival of lights is being organised through a partnership between the Blackburn Hindu Centre and Saffron Group.
People of all faiths, backgrounds and diversities are being invited to come together to celebrate ‘an evening of fun and laughter’.
Headlining the event will Bhangra legends Sahara.
The packed evening will begin at 5.30pm with a spectacular fireworks display followed by traditional dances.
The headline sponsor this year is JP Morgan and a number of Blackburn businesses are also supporting the event.
