Officers found 300 cannabis plants during a raid on premises in Clayton-le-Woods.
Police executed the warrant on Preston Road today and discovered what officers described as a 'sophisticated setup'.
Several sections of the rooms had been modified and the walls insulated to grow the plants.
A police spokesperson added: "Cannabis grows like this are very dangerous to the public, often the electricity is bypassed and they become a major fire risk.
"The cannabis setups are often used to fund other crimes and exploit vulnerable people into growing or selling the cannabis."
