The Blackpool Tower will host the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2024.
Marketing Lancashire has announced that the event will take place in the Tower Ballroom on February 11, 2025.
The awards celebrate 'outstanding' contributions to the tourism and hospitality sector in Lancashire.
Aaron Edgar, head of operations at The Blackpool Tower, said: "We're excited to be supporting the Lancashire Tourism Awards, and we’re ready to host this amazing celebration.
"The Blackpool Tower is the perfect setting to honour the incredible work happening across Lancashire's tourism sector.
"For the four finalists in the Unsung Hero category, nominated by their industry colleagues, it certainly will be an unforgettable night.
"They now await the decision of the Lancashire Tourism Awards judging which takes place this week, and look forward to attending Lancashire’s biggest night for tourism and hospitality."
The finalists for the Unsung Hero category, which recognises 'customer service excellence', have also been revealed.
The nominees are James Ainsworth, café manager at Mrs Dowson’s Farm Park, Clayton-le-Dale, who is described as is described as ‘the heart and soul of the team’ and Beth Armistead, head of the tours department at the Elgin Hotel in Blackpool who has 'an unwavering commitment to going above and beyond'.
There's also Daniel Atkinson, head of marketing and commercial at Blackpool Transport Services, whose 'forward-thinking has kept Blackpool Transport ahead of industry trends', and Andrew Reid, operations manager at Secret Garden Glamping in Skelmersdale who is described as 'invaluable to operations, exemplifying the highest levels of customer service’.
Vikki Harris, marketing and partnerships director of Marketing Lancashire, said: "Lancashire is well known for its warm and friendly welcome, and for the world-class service provided by colleagues in hotels, attractions, and hospitality venues across the county.
"Each year, we never fail to be impressed by the people nominated for our Unsung Hero award and we’re delighted to have four outstanding finalists this year, who are each deserving of the title.
"We thank them for the exceptional service they provide and look forward to applauding them, along with the finalists in all 22 categories of this year’s Lancashire Tourism Awards, at the ceremony in February which we’re thrilled to be holding in The Blackpool Tower ballroom in this 130th anniversary year."
