A care home team leader has won the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.

Jeannette Morgan, who has worked at Lavender Hills Care Home in Ramsbottom for three years, has scooped the prize with ticket number 23927.

She has been employed in her current position at the Stubbins Vale Road care home for a year, supporting the manager with the day-to-day running of the provider.

Jeannette holds two tickets in the draw, which she has been part of since December last year - just a few weeks after another Lavender Hills staff member, senior carer Kelly Ratcliffe, won it.

Debi and Phil Fellone from the Made In Bury team visited the care home to surprise Jeannette with her winnings, and with the help of the fantastic staff at Lavender Hills, they managed to do it in front of all her colleagues and residents.

Jeanette and her husband will be using the winnings to make Christmas even more magical for them and their family.

Lavender Hills is described as an "amazing home" and has stunning views across the Lancashire countryside, specialising in dementia, residential and respite care.

If you'd like to win like Jeannette, visit draw.madeinbury.co.uk to sign up.

The draw is a not-for-profit scheme with funds raised from the draw supporting start-up businesses in Bury with training and interest-free loans.

There are 2,400 tickets available and for £2 per ticket per week, you have a chance to win £2,000 every Wednesday.
