An East Lancashire man has been jailed after pleading guilty to threats to kill and criminal damage following weeks on the run.
Appearing before Preston Crown Court on Monday, November 11, Wraith Greenwood, of Woodfield Terrace, Brierfield, pleaded guilty to making threats to kill and causing criminal damage.
The court heard how Greenwood, 32, carried out the attacks on August 9 but denied causing actual bodily harm to the victim in the attack.
He was said to have damaged a television set valued at £40 and made threats intended to make his victim fear he would kill her.
Following the incident he went on the run, and was a regular feature in the police's most wanted lists from the end of August until October 8 after which he was finally apprehended.
He was jailed for 18 months.
