A man has been charged over an alleged possession of a weapon in Walton-le-Dale.
At around 4am on Friday, 8 November, whilst on patrol in the Walton-le-Dale area, officers spotted an e-bike being ridden by two men who were acting suspiciously.
After failing to stop, officers located them on Higher Walton Road.
Following a search, a large machete was discovered. The machete as well as the e-bike were seized.
Connor Heyes, 20, of School Field, Bamber Bridge, has now been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released on bail and will appear at Preston Magistrates Court on 12 December.
