A Blackburn man who racially abused a manager at his local supermarket has been given a community order.
Wasim Hussain, 30, abused the manager at Morrisons in Blackburn on July 7, 2022.
Hussain, of Stonyhurst Road, was initially given a fine at Blackburn Magistrates' Court for two counts of racially/religiously aggravated fear/provocation of violence.
The Crown Court has uplifted this fine to a six-month community order with rehabilitation days.
Hussain was also ordered to pay £300 in prosecution costs and a £114 surcharge.
