Multiple young people in Colne will be spoken to by police after bouts of anti-social behaviour, targeting elderly residents.
A group of 10 to 15 youths have continually targeted a specific address in Ruskin Avenue in Colne, with the homeowner considered to be in poor health.
Police have been provided with the names of five of the youths and will be attending local schools to obtain parent details and home addresses.
Parents will be brought into the police station and spoken to about their children’s behaviour.
Due to the amount of complaints, police will be looking at a criminal conviction for harassment if this does not stop.
Officers are also assuring residents the remaining culprits will be found and brought into the police station to explain why they are conducting themselves in such a manner.
