A Padiham-based business has announced the takeover of another company which it says will bolster its position
LCM Environmental, based in Wyre Street, Padiham, has acquired Wolverhampton-based CorroGuard Ltd, a coatings and linings service provider.
The acquisition, announced on November 5, strengthens LCM's position as a provider of energy and critical infrastructure services.
Since 1987, LCM Environmental has been supporting organisations to maintain key infrastructure and ensuring businesses are compliant.
It is known for its installation, maintenance, and future-proofing of partner systems services.
CorroGuard Ltd, founded in 2009, is a specialist coatings and linings business.
Its founder, Richard Turbutt, has more than 35 years of experience in the industry.
CorroGuard has been committed to providing 'high-quality solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients across various sectors.'
The acquisition will 'combine LCM's extensive expertise with CorroGuard's specialised capabilities.'
This partnership aims to 'drive innovation and deliver superior value to customers.'
LCM and CorroGuard will offer a range of coatings and linings services, including media blasting, glass flake and resin coatings and linings, GRP laminate systems, single and double wall lining, and various wrapping and coating systems.
