Businesses are being encouraged to back the 'Baubles of Care' campaign this Christmas to support the East Lancashire Hospice.
Each day, it costs more than £8,000 to run the hospice’s 10-bedroom Inpatient Unit – and the charity is asking local businesses to help with essential running costs during the festive season.
In return, businesses will receive a special East Lancashire Hospice Christmas bauble and be featured on a banner in the hospice throughout December.
Corporate fundraiser, Marisa Bannan, said; “This Christmas, you can make a real difference in our community.
"We support patients and their families when they need it the most but our services cost money to staff and maintain.
“Christmas is a time to spend time with your loved ones – and we want to ensure that those with life-limiting illnesses are comfortable.
“By making a donation and receiving a Bauble of Care you’re helping us spread holiday cheer and supporting those in need this Christmas.”
To contribute, simply fill out the form on the East Lancashire Hospice website or contact Corporate Fundraiser, Marisa Bannan for more information by emailing Marisa.Bannan@eastlancshospice.org.uk or call 01254 916928.
