A charity has announced an open day at its new support hub next week.
Newground Together, an independent charity part of the Together Housing Group, has set up a base in Shackleton Hall, Colne.
The charity, which offers training opportunities, energy-saving advice, and help with finding volunteering roles, will host an open day on Friday, November 15.
The hub is open to everyone and offers tailored support to meet individual needs.
The open day will allow people to find out more about the charity and what it offers.
The charity's three teams will be present to provide information and answer questions.
The Employment and Skills team offers training sessions in maths, ICT, and personal development to help people find jobs.
The Greener Together team works with people in Pendle to find ways to save money and reduce energy costs.
The Great Outdoors team encourages outdoor activities with volunteer opportunities, helping people connect with nature and make a difference in the local environment.
Alison Clews, community programme manager at Newground Together, said: "We’re really passionate about being able to reach as many people as possible and we’re so thrilled to have set up a base in Colne.
"Since moving in, we see how important it is for members of the community to have access to our support, especially to be able to do so in person.
"There’s a lot of support available at Newground Together which people often don’t know about.
"That’s why we’re opening the doors to everyone who might want to find out more and speak to us in person before making any decisions about what they want to take part in.
"We hope to see as many people there as we can."
The open day will take place on Friday, November 15, and people are welcome to drop in at any time between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
