A multi-award-winning hotel and spa resort in Burnley welcomed a variety of star-studded guests yesterday for an exclusive red carpet event.

Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort, nestled on Royale Lane, invited a host of high-profile guests to celebrate the local area, challenge preconceptions and promote the borough as a go-to luxury getaway destination.

Among the visitors were Coronation Street actress, Victoria Ekanoye who was joined by her corrie co-stars Sair Khan and Tom Maudlsey, television personality and influencer Claudia Fogarty, who was joined by professional footballer, Ollie Cranshaw.

Also on the guest list were actress and singer, Jodie Prenger as well as aesthetics doctor, Natalie Haworth, former soap star and mindset coach Stephanie Waring and internet personality Lauren Saddington.

The multi-award-winning spa currently employs 26 beauty therapists and offers a range of bespoke spa day packages starting from £205.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure that the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, we want to invite guests from Burnley and beyond in to show what we have to offer.

(Image: Leah Collins) The decision to keep the 76-room hotel and spa in Burnley was entirely intentional, notes Burnley Place brand manager, Rachel Bayley: “We really wanted to bring it back to the north create a welcoming atmosphere and remain accessible for visitors without being pretentious.

“Luxury service doesn’t have to just come from London, we want to put Burnley on the map. We’ve invited celebrities from across the UK today to show them what we have to offer and spread the word about our services.

“When there’s a Premier League team, they stay here. The function room is also able to seat 420 people so we’re able to cater to corporate events.”
