Six fire engines were called to a large fire at a commercial unit in Preston last night.
Firefighters were called shortly before 6.30pm last night to Chain Caul Way and the road was closed in both directions.
Six crews initially responded along with an aerial ladder platform, the drone team, and a firefighting robot, and found the building to be full of smoke.
Hose reels were used to extinguish the fire and at around 9pm the number of fire engines was reduced to three, with some crews remaining to monitor the temperature of the cylinders inside the unit.

A fire service spokesperson said: £Firefighters were called at 18:28 and found the property full of smoke. The building contains cylinders and as a result a cordon has been put in place and Chain Caul Way is currently closed in both directions.
"Firefighters are using hose reels to extinguish the fire.
"Six fire engines, a drone, a firefighting robot and aerial ladder platform are in attendance."
A later update said: "The number of fire engines at the scene has been reduced to three. This is because the fire has been brought under control but firefighters will continue to monitor the temperature of the cylinders throughout the evening. "
