Jordan North has hired an unusual home helper and can’t recommend it strongly enough.
The Burnley radio presenter has revealed he’s hired a professional declutterer to help keep his house tidy after BBC Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills pestered him for weeks about it.
Talking on the most recent episode of his podcast Help I Sexted My Boss, which he hosts alongside William Hanson, Jordan said that he’s had ‘quite the week’ after the cleaner visited him for four hours.
He played a voice note that he received from Scott Mills that said: “Just a quick reminder, I just had my declutter woman round last night.
“Oh my God, you need to book. I’ll book it in for you if you don’t.”
Jordan said that he’s already booked her again for next week and that she visits Scott every month.
The 34-year-old Burnley FC fan showed his co-presenter a before and after picture of his wardrobe.
He said: “Look how messy that is. S*** everywhere. It looks like a bomb’s gone off.”
The Capital radio show host said that the declutterer Lauren - @perfectspacehomeorganisation on Instagram – made him fill a bin bag full of everything he thought he needed to throw out before adding more and more to the pile.
Jordan said that T-shirts and an old suit were amongst the items he got rid of, and that everything that is thrown away is donated to charity.
Jordan told William that he’ll send her to his house too, and William jokingly replied: “I don’t think I need it!”
William added: “Where does a bailiff become a professional declutterer? Where is that line?”
