A man has been arrested in connection with vehicle interference in Great Harwood.
Police were called to reports of a man trying car door handles in Frankland Chase today (October 30).
Following enquiries, a 40-year-old man from Blackburn was located on Whalley Road and arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference.
He is currently being questioned.
If any residents local to that area have CCTV footage that may be relevant, let police know by calling 101 and quoting log 0117 of October 30.
Police are advising people to remove valuables from vehicles and to keep doors locked.
Any suspicious behaviour should be reported to police and if you believe a crime is in progress or has just occurred, call 999.
