Details of Remembrance events in East Lancashire’s have been revealed as the county announces plans to commemorate the fallen soldiers in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

Remembrance Day is always marked as November 11 on the calendar as the First World War ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in accordance with the Armistice signed by The Allies and Germany in 1918.

That date falls on a Monday this year, with remembrance Sunday being the previous day.
