The driver of a Jaguar car crashed into the central reservation on the M6 causing long delays.
Police were called just before 12.30pm today (Tuesday) to reports of a crash on the northbound M6 between J31 for Samlesbury and J31A for Longridge.
They said there were no injuries and that it was a damage-only crash.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to Junction 31 of the M6 at 12.29pm today following a report a Jaguar had collided with the central reservation.

"Lane four on the northbound and southbound carriageways is closed while the barrier is repaired.
"Thankfully nobody was injured."
The lane closures have caused a build-up of traffic on both sides of the motorway, going all the way back to the M61 on the northbound side and affecting traffic coming south from the M55.
National Highways have said that traffic conditions may not return to normal until around 4.30pm.
Roads around the M6 appear to be largely unaffected by the incident at the moment.
