Police have charged a man following alleged thefts from a number of shops in Preston and South Ribble.
The incidents happened at three stores in which numerous items, including laundry pods, were stolen.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on Monday and Patrick Barnes, 29, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with three counts of theft from a shop.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Preston Magistrates Court this morning.
