Neighbours living in an East Lancashire street have got that Friday feeling today, as they've bagged themselves a People's Postcode Lottery prize.
Residents with a specific postcode in Haslingden - and a ticket subscription - have won £1,000 each in the daily prize draw.
One of today's 20 winning postcodes is BB4 5TB which belongs to postcode lottery players living in Salisbury Street.
A spokesperson said: "Is that Friday excitement setting in yet? Well, it could be about to ramp up a few thousand notches!"
The lottery works by players signing up with any eligible postcode and paying £12 per month.
Subscriptions to the postcode lottery support a range of charities across the UK, with a minimum of 33 per cent of the ticket prices going to charity.
The People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month.
The lottery is hugely popular nationally and supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world".
To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 billion in funding which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
Congratulations to those heading into the weekend £1,000 richer.
