A man from Crawshawbooth has been charged after a teenager died in a crash on the M6, almost two years ago.
Chloe Williams, 19, from Dudley, died after a multi-vehicle crash on the M6 in Cheshire, in 2022.
Daniel Barlow, of Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth, Rossendale, was arrested on Friday 2 December, 2022.
He is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 4 after being charged with causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and allegedly making a false statement to obtain a driving licence.
On Friday, December 2, 2022, police were called to the M6 northbound between junction 16 to junction 17, near Sandbach.
Chloe was taken to hospital with serious injuries and died.
In a tribute her family said: “We have lost our beautiful girl in the most tragic way.
"She was about to start her dream career and has now had all that taken away. We ask as a family to be allowed to grieve in private.”
