Police say an investigation is ongoing after a baby died in hospital having been found unresponsive at home in Burnley.
Officers were called by North West Ambulance Service to a property in Moorland Road on Monday (October 21) just after 7.30am.
Despite the best efforts of the medical personnel, the baby boy was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say his death is currently being treated as unexpected and their enquiries are "ongoing."
