Two men have been arrested in Darwen after police and CSI teams find a shotgun and bullets in a building.
Teams attended Croft Street yesterday afternoon, October 22, and two people were arrested after a firearm was found at the address.
Officers recovered a shotgun and a quantity of ammunition at the scene.
A man in his 40s from Darwen and a man in his 30s from Keighley in West Yorkshire have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and are currently in custody.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “Two people have been arrested after a firearm was found at an address in Darwen.
“Police were called to Croft Street yesterday (Tuesday, October 22) where we recovered a shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.
“A man in his 30s from Keighley, West Yorkshire, and a man in his 40s from Darwen have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and are currently in custody.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
