A Blackburn-based telecoms provider has expanded into IT services after buying another firm.

Claritel, founded in May 2011, has acquired J2 Technology Ltd to boost its service offerings and accelerate growth.

The strategic move is expected to 'propel the group's growth by 30 per cent.'

Jay Motorwala, the founder of Claritel, said: "This acquisition is a big step for Claritel.

"It allows us to provide our customers with a complete suite of IT services, under the banner Claritel.

"Our acquisition of J2 Technology, specifically Adam Robinson, who I have known since 2019, strengthens our team and enhances our capabilities.

"Adam brings almost four decades of industry experience to the team, and I am excited to have him join us."

Adam Robinson, former director of J2 Technology Ltd and now head of IT at Claritel, also expressed enthusiasm for the future.

He said: "Joining Claritel is a fantastic opportunity for both our team and our clients.

"Together, we can offer a comprehensive range of services, and I’m excited to see where we can take the company next."

The acquisition does not affect existing clients, who will continue to receive their standard services, but they will now also have access to the full range of telecoms and IT services.

Claritel, which has been in the telecoms industry for 13 years, takes pride in its personalised approach to customer service, which it claims 'sets it apart from larger competitors.'

Mr Motorwala added: "Our clients appreciate knowing who they’re dealing with when they call us.

"We partner with our clients to help them grow their businesses through the use of technology and communications.

"We are dedicated to being the go-to provider of telecoms and IT services."

Mr Motorwala has 24 years of industry experience and has 'consistently driven Claritel towards innovation and customer-centric solutions.'
