Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and keep valuables locked up and out of view after a spate of burglaries in an East Lancashire town.
Yesterday afternoon and evening a “significant number” incidents were reported in the Padiham and Ightenhills areas.
They have asked the community to review CCTV in the Wellfield Drive area and surrounding streets and report any suspicious footage of offenders to police.
Two bikes have been recovered and if individuals can provide proof of ownership they should contact 101 or visit Burnley Police Station Front Desk quoting the log LC-20241023-0108.
