A new generation of video wall controllers has been launched to meet the demands of modern control rooms.
Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS), based in Burnley, has unveiled an expanded range of its Lucidity controllers.
The new models are both faster and more powerful, boasting the latest in central processing unit (CPU) power.
The updated Lucidity range starts with the WBC30 controller. This three-slot controller, equipped with an i9 processor, is designed for smaller systems needing physical inputs.
The WBC50 controller is another addition to the range.
This five-slot controller, with the powerful Xeon W3 processor and 64GB of RAM, is ideal for medium-sized configurations that need to process more web pages and physical inputs.
The WBC10 and WBC70 controllers have also been upgraded.
The WBC90 and WBC110 remain the largest controllers in the Lucidity range, with huge expansion capabilities.
The WBC40 model will be phased out over time, but UVS has assured customers that it will continue to support all existing installations and maintain service stock.
UVS managing director, Steve Murphy, said: "Lucidity has been an incredibly popular solution for our clients and partners since it was first launched in early 2019.
"The demands of modern control rooms mean we have decided to enhance and add to the range of controllers we offer, whilst ensuring that our high standards remain for the service and maintenance of existing installations."
UVS is 'manufacturer-agnostic' in order to provide clients with the 'absolute optimum solution' to meet specific video wall requirements, and works with a range of key manufacturers on that basis.
The company is led by four senior colleagues who together have more than 85 years combined audio-visual, control room and visual solutions experience.
