A man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was reportedly slashed across the face.
Lancashire Police have charged Jordan O'Brien following an alleged incident in Borough Road, Darwen, at 2.56am on Sunday, October 20.
Police said officers were called to reports a man had received a slash injury to his face.
A man in his 30s, the alleged victim, is currently in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Following enquiries, O'Brien, 25, was arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with the reported incident.
O'Brien, of James Street, Darwen, was due to appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court today (Monday) following the charge.
Police are continuing to appeal for information regarding the incident and anyone who thinks they can assist the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting log number 171 of October 20.
