A road in Oswaldtwistle is closed after a crash this morning (October 20).
Stanhill Road, between Windsor Road and Thwaites Road, is closed,
Officers have urged drivers to find an alternative route when travelling.
A car left the carriageway and crashed into a telephone post. The road was closed for repairs.
A police spokesperson said: “We currently have a road closure in place, due to a road traffic collision, From Windsor Road to Thwaites Road, [Oswaldtwistle].
“Please find alternative routes when travelling this morning.
"It was a no injury RTC, a car has left the carriageway and collided with a telephone post. The road was closed for repairs."
A spokesperson for AA Traffic and Travel said: “Road closed due to earlier fallen telegraph pole on B6234 Stanhill Road both ways from Thwaites Road to Windsor Road. Traffic is coping well.”
