A woman has been charged after handbags and bottles of perfume were stolen from a shop.

The items were taken from TK Maxx and Boots in Fishergate, Preston, last week.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested yesterday and police have now charged Jessica Spencer, 30, of Kenmure Place, with three counts of theft from a shop.

She is due to appear before Preston Magistrates' Court today (October 18).
