A new shop will celebrate its opening event with free giveaways.
An opening event will be held to mark the opening of the new Toys“R”Us "shop-in-shop" at WHSmith’s St Annes store.
Geoffrey the Giraffe, the store’s mascot, will be present for an official ribbon cutting, before greeting guests throughout the morning.
The first 50 children to visit the store will receive a "free Toys“R”Us goody bag worth over £15".
Products from toy brands such as Barbie, Bluey, Hot Wheels, Lego, Peppa Pig and Star Wars will be available at launch.
Children can play at demonstration tables, and a life-size Geoffrey the Giraffes sculpture provides "great photo opportunities" in the store.
St Annes is one of 37 WHSmith High Street stores set to open a new shop-in-shop from Toys“R”Us before Christmas.
Further openings include WHSmith stores in Carlisle, Newbury and Scarborough.
Ian Sanders, Group Commercial Development Director, WHSmith said: “We’re really excited to be opening Toys“R”Us in St Annes.
“WHSmith is known for being the Hub of the High Street by providing customers with a range of great products and services.
“Partnering with Toys R Us gives us a leading toys and games range in our stores and means customers have even more reasons to shop with us.
“We look forward to welcoming many more customers into our store.”
The grand opening will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 9am to 1pm.
