Mindless yobs smashed through the front at a Whalley farm shop and ran around inside but did not choose to steal anything.
Four men came out of the 4X4 after it smashed through the doors of Farnsworth Fresh Foods on Wednesday at around 9.45pm, but left when they were unable to find anything of value.
Ben Dearden, operations manager at Farnsworths said: “It has been quite dramatic, and they have caused a lot of damage.
“They drove the car in four of them ran around jumped in and ran around a bit and didn’t take anything.
“They also tried the business next door and didn’t take anything from there either. I think they were just trying it but then couldn’t find anything inside so left.”
Having recently opened a trade counter open to the public the sausage and meat suppliers are now dealing with significant damage to the building.
Farnsworth's is usually open from 6am to 1pm and they operate as a wholesalers as well as a shop.
