Mellor Brook Chaiiwala drive-through giving out free food

Chaiiwala, known for its Indian hot drinks, will give a free kebab roll to customers buying a hot Karak Chaii or Karak Coffee at the Mellor Brook drive-through restaurant on Preston New Road, on Saturday October 19.

The brand, which opened its Mellor Brook drive-through earlier this year, aims to satisfy its regular customers and persuade newcomers to try its offerings.

A Chaiiwala spokesperson said: "We opened our drive-through in Mellor Brook this year, and it's proven so popular we wanted to give our regular customers a treat and entice those who've yet to sample our wares to give us a go.

"We started out with a mission to bring the wonders of chaii, Indian tea, to these shores, and since then we've expanded into a wide range of street food, so as a thank you to our loyal Lancashire customers and to show off our menu, we've decided to give our delicious kebab roll free when anyone purchases our Karak Chaii or coffee on October 19."

Since its establishment in 2015 in Leicester, Chaiiwala has grown into a global brand with almost 120 outlets.

It offers a fusion of Indian street food with a Western twist, featuring breakfast, lunch, dessert, and all-day items.

Their menu includes the popular Karak Chaii, Caramel Chaii, 'English-ish' Breakfast, Masala Chips, and Karachi Bun Kebab Burger.

The spokesperson said: "Since we set up, we have proved that there is a market for tea and coffee brewed the Indian way, with care, attention, and time.

"Our chai especially is a huge hit, and we decided to expand into street food to give our customers yet more of a taste of India."
