An uninsured driver crashed into a house in Nelson on Sunday evening (October 13).
Officers were called to Hereford Street at around 8.20pm last night, after a man drove into a house.
No injuries were reported but the driver’s vehicle was seized due to him driving without insurance and causing criminal damage.
Officers say he will face prosecution.
A police spokesperson said: “You might have noticed an increase police presence around your area over the last 24 hours.
"This was nothing to worry about, a person took it upon themselves to drive into a house. Thankfully, nobody was injured and nothing further was affected.
“The driver's vehicle was seized due to him driving with no insurance and causing criminal damage and he will be facing prosecution.”
