The M65 is partially blocked this morning near Blackburn due to a crash.
Queues are building on the westbound carriageway between J4 and J3 after the incident earlier this morning.
Traffic is also building on surrounding roads in Blackburn, Feniscowles, and Darwen as traffic tries to join the motorway.
Congestion currently goes back to J6 at Blackburn.
Traffic is said to be slowing as it passes the scene.
A spokesperson for AA Traffic said: "Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on M65 Westbound from J4 A666 Earcroft Way (Darwen / Blackburn South) to J3 A674 Chorley Road (Blackburn West / Wheelton).
"Congestion to J6 (Blackburn).
"Traffic slows eastbound as it passes the scene."
Lancashire Police confirmed the crash was "damage-only" and did not give details of whether there were any injuries.
