An iconic 90s pop group is set to perform in Rossendale this weekend, with a few tickets still remaining.

Boyband 911 will perform at St Mary's Chambers in Rawtenstall on Saturday, October 12.

The group, made up of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable, and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn, scored 10 UK top 10 singles in their five years together during the 90s, and sold 10 million singles and six million albums around the world.

The band split up in February 2000, but they reunited in 2013 and have since put on gigs and tours around the world.

The band will perform a headline set packed full of their greatest hits at the Haslingden Road venue.

The event will also be a nostalgic 90s 'mini indoor festival' with the 'Take That Tribute' playing the band's best-known hits, along with Rossendale vocalist Lareena Mitchell who appeared on The Voice.

A spokesperson for the venue said: "We are delighted to bring such a notable name from 90s pop music to the venue for what we are sure will be a fantastic event celebrating the best of 90s pop with an original act from that era.

"911 soundtracked some of the team here at St Mary’s Chambers' most formative years, so it’s a great privilege to welcome one of the biggest names in 90’s pop to our venue."

Limited tickets are still available from stmaryslive.com or by calling the box office on 01706 223 222.

Doors to the event open at 6pm and the first act will take to the stage from 7pm.
