East Lancashire is getting ready to celebrate Bonfire Night, with firework displays and bonfires happening around the county.

Gisburne Park Estate’s Bonfire and Fireworks
Gisburne Park Estate is set to host another spectacular event, with organisers promising fireworks and the biggest bonfire in the North of England.
Taking place in Gisburn, just outside Clitheroe, the evening will also include live music, fire dancers, a sparkler area, a bubble machine and a firework display by Optimum Fireworks.
The country estate will also have a DJ afterparty, food and drink by Hindelinis, and a VIP area for the very first time.
The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday November 2 from 3pm, with the bonfire starting at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7.30pm.
Tickets must be bought in advance and a car parking pass must be bought with the ticket if needed.
There are no dogs allowed and the venue is completely cashless.
Adult tickets cost £17, child tickets cost £11 and VIP tickets cost £28.
Clitheroe Castle
Clitheroe Castle will become the backdrop for a charity bonfire and fireworks display on Saturday, November 2.
There will be food and drink on the castle field from 5pm, as well as entertainment and activities, including music provided by Ribble FM, before the bonfire is lit at 6pm and the firework display starts at 7pm.
Tickets can be bought online now or by visiting Clitheroe newsagent, Banana News.
Adult tickets cost £5, teenage tickets £3, a child ticket costs £2, and family tickets cost £12.
All proceeds will go to local groups and charities.
Towneley Park, Burnley
Towneley Park will host a family-friendly display with a funfair, bonfire and two fireworks displays - one for younger children at 7.30pm and a main display at 8.30pm.
Organised by the council, in partnership with the Friends of Towneley Park and Brunshaw Action Group, the event will take place on Tuesday November 5 - and is planned to be bigger and better than previous years.
Tickets are on sale through the Mechanics Box Office at £2 for individuals and £5 for families.
Tickets are also available at Contact Burnley, St Peter’s Leisure Centre, Padiham Leisure Centre and Towneley Hall.
Gibbon Bridge, Ribble Valley
Gibbon Bridge hotel and restaurant is hosting its annual fireworks celebration in the Forest of Bowland.
The night will include hot chocolate, mulled wine and Lancashire lamb hotpot suppers, with fireworks starting at 6.15pm.
Taking place on Tuesday November 5 from 5.30 to 8.30pm, guests can also book a room and stay the night at the bed and breakfast.
Tickets will cost £35 for adults and £20 for children.
Clitheroe Cricket Club
Clitheroe Cricket Club is back hosting its bonfire and fireworks display with street food vendors and outdoor bars.
Gates will open at 5.30pm on Friday November 1, with the bonfire being lit at 6.15pm and the fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.
Food will be available from Country Fried, Asian Street Food, Love is Churros, Pendle Pizzas, Freshly Made Doughnuts and Yummy Yums.
There will be outdoor bars and a cocktail cart for adults, as well as a tuck shop, a toy shop and hot drinks available.
All funds raised will support the development of the 160-year-old community club.
Advance tickets can be bought online and cost £5 for adults, £2 for children and £12 for families.
Blackburn Family Fireworks and Bonfire
Blackburn's Royal British Legion will host fireworks and a bonfire on Saturday November 2 at the East Lancashire Cricket Club.
The family-friendly evening will have fairground rides, food and a bar, and will take place from 6pm to 10pm.
Tickets cost £3.50 if booked in advance or £5 if bought on the gate and money raised will help support the Royal British Legion, the Fire Fighters Charity and the Poppy Appeal.
Haslingden Cricket Club
Haslingden Cricket Club is hosting its annual bonfire and fireworks display on Saturday, November 2.
There will be children’s rides, including hook a huck, and food will be available from the club kitchen and food stalls outside.
Alcoholic drinks will also be available from the clubhouse bar and an outside bar.
The event will begin at 5.30pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm, and the fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available online and cost £5 for adults, £4 for children and £16 for families.
Blackburn Charity Bonfire, Witton Park
The annual bonfire night celebrations will return to Witton Park to raise money for local charities.
A bonfire, fireworks, fun fair and live music are all planned to take place at Witton Country Park on Saturday November 9 from 5pm, with the bonfire starting at 7pm and fireworks starting at 7.30pm.
The annual event raises thousands of pounds each year for local charities.
Tickets will cost £4 for adults, £3 for teenagers, £0.50 for children and £8 for a family ticket.
