A Blackburn man has been jailed for thefts from a number of vehicles in Chorley.
Bernard Rawstron was arrested by officers out on patrol in the Buckshaw Village area.
Following a search, Rawstron was found with items such as a Sat Nav and designer sunglasses.
Rawstron, 49, of Leach Street, appeared before Preston Magistrates yesterday and pleaded guilty to three counts of theft from a motor vehicle, three counts of vehicle interference and assault with intent to resist arrest.
He has been jailed for 18 months.
