A scare attraction in Clayton-le-Dale is the place to go if you’re feeling brave this Halloween, as it has been named as one of the UK’s best fright nights.
Scare Kingdom Scream Park, on Longsight Road, has been named the second best fright night and scare event in the UK, based on Google searches and Instagram hashtags.
Spin Genie UK, which has collected the data, says Scare Kingdom has a score of 7.29 out of 10, beaten only by Scream Factory in Redcar.
A spokesperson said: “This immersive horror experience takes visitors through multiple fear-inducing zones.
"For those seeking an adrenaline-fuelled night, Scare Kingdom offers a spine-tingling adventure like no other.
“With ticket prices at £24.79, it offers a thrilling experience at great value. Though it has just over 1,000 hashtagged Instagram posts, Scare Kingdom continues to attract plenty of attention, with almost 60,000 annual Google searches.”
Scare Kingdom returns this year, from now until November 9. There are more than 130 themed spaces, five scare mazes and more than 80 scare actors, ready to put your bravery to the test.
Sinister clowns, a scary trip to the hospital and other surprises can be expected at this year’s event.
A spokesperson for Scare Kingdom said: “Prepare yourself for a pulse-pounding adventure like no other. Scare Kingdom Scream Park is a world-class attraction, pushing the boundaries of fear and leaving you trembling with anticipation.
“Mazes that will test your courage and ignite your darkest fears, all with a new twist.”
