A man was arrested over dangerous driving and drug driving as police cracked down on motoring offences in Pendle.
Officers said the man was arrested on Wednesday (October 2) after they were involved in a pursuit.
The driver was detained and arrested for multiple driving offences, including dangerous driving, drug driving, and failing to stop.
He has been released under investigation pending forensic results for the alleged drug driving.
Officers from the Pendle Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working to tackle anti-social driving around the streets of Nelson, Brierfield, and Barrowford in the past week, paying particular attention to the Padiham bypass.
As a result, six warnings have been issued for anti-social driving, three vehicles have been seized for not being insured, and three tickets have been issued for traffic offences.
Also, three vehicles were found abandoned after being involved in pursuits, an order was given to the keeper of a vehicle who failed to stop, and one stolen vehicle was recovered.
A police spokesperson said: "We are committed to tackling anti-social driving and our activity will continue."
