A town is set to be transformed for a magical Harry Potter-themed event this Halloween.
On Saturday, October 26 Colne town centre will feature a host of activities related to the wizarding world.
Activities will include face painting, crafting, potion making, spellcasting, axe throwing, owl holding, comedy magic shows, Punch & Judy, quidditch training, broomstick training, and much more.
On top of all this, there will also be a wide range of entertainment including a Harry Potter show, a separate magic show, and live music from Jess McGlinchey.
Colne town council’s events officer Nathan Cutler said: “Our Halloween event used to be one of our smallest events that we held, but each year the event keeps getting bigger and bigger and we cannot wait for people to see what we have in store for them this year.
“We have lots of free activities as we want to gather the whole community together to enjoy a family day out without having to worry about the normal costs associated with a day out.”
A road closure will be in place on Market Street from the traffic lights to the junction with Windy Bank between 5am and 9pm on October 26 to allow for infrastructure to be installed and for the event to take place.
